Smart bras to check breast cancer
A high-tech bra is developed by the Center for Materials Research and Innovation (CRMI) at the University of Bolton, UK, allowing the wearer to discover breast cancer at its earliest stage.
The shirt used a microwave antenna device attached inside. Data on each chest will be collected by microprocessors and transmitted to the computer.
Professor Elias Siores, CRMI Director, said: "The chest imaging bra is an invention that helps the wearer discover breast cancer at the earliest possible stage, to help treat it promptly. A simple, efficient, inexpensive device, and provides readable information ".
According to Siores, the device will be much cheaper than having a woman be examined by a remote-controlled electronic arm. This is also one of the latest products in a series of new electronic health improvement products announced by the company.
The German company Philips has also created a heart rate monitoring underwear. It not only collects health information but can also call the emergency number if a problem is found.
