Solar powered shaking cars for people with disabilities

The shaking car is improved and has an electric motor powered by solar power, which allows the driver to increase the throttle when going uphill, not as much as the usual ride.

This is the initiative of the group of lecturers of Hue Traffic College , headed by MSc Nguyen Xuan Trung - Head of Science, Foreign Affairs and Quality Assurance Department. The group successfully ran the car in the afternoon 24/7.

Master Trung said with normal shaking cars, people with disabilities have to use their hands to shake and push cars, so it is very difficult to go uphill or downhill. Wishing to support people with disabilities, the team devised a way to install more electric motors powered by solar energy.

The group also improved the hard-drive handshake to one-way slide, allowing the driver to both increase the throttle with manual push when going uphill.

When downhill, the driver can cut the electric motor and use a speed brake. On the flat road, only an electric motor is needed to run.

The car uses solar energy from 4 panels installed in the roof. After 4 hours of sunlight, the energy will fully charge two batteries, enough to travel 30km. On winter days when solar radiation is too low, users can charge like an electric bicycle.

Motor vehicles with 24V voltage, ensure electrical safety but still meet the travel needs of the operator with the speed can reach 25km / h. Expected a complete car with a cost of 9.7 million.

"This shaking car is suitable for the weather conditions in the central sunshine, many solar radiation, the energy source is always enough to operate.
