Stonehenge of Australia - great mystery without a solution

The copy of the Stonehenge stone circle consists of a cross that is surrounded by stones that form a perfect circle and is followed by a series of megaliths lasting several hundred meters.

Discovered the work is said to be "Australia's Stonehenge"

The Stonehenge stone circle was built between 2000 and 2500 BC in Wiltshire, Salisbury, England, is one of the most mysterious prehistoric monuments in the world. Scholars make many theories about the origin of Stonehenge such as the burial place, the place of the ceremony, the healing area or even the aliens' trail. Thousands of kilometers away, Australia's "Stonehenge" is also a big mystery for scientists.

According to IB Times, the project is located 40km from Mullumbimby, New South Wales. Due to being largely destroyed in the 1940s, the exact location of the building is kept private to this day.

The first person to record a copy of Stonehenge in 1939 was explorer Frederic Slater, a former president of the Australian Association of Archeology and Education Research. Slater wrote many letters expressing his enthusiasm for discovery.

"The land is one of the oldest buildings. In my opinion, this is the oldest temple in the world, dating from the Old Stone Age with the first human appearance , " News.com quoted. Slater's notes. The explorer thinks that this work is more important than Stonehenge.

The monument area includes 181 vertical stone blocks, mostly sandstone that does not exist naturally in the area. The nearest sandstone quarry is more than 20 km away. In the absence of adequate tools, the ancient people were almost incapable of moving large amounts of stone. Stonehenge can also contain the first inscriptions of human language - a complex multi-layer system of thousands of words.

In 2015, the father and son Steven and Evan Strong, who specialize in the study of antiquities, began to search for traces of works that they believed were 'one of the most important places in the world'.

"Slater's letters were lost and rediscovered. We are seeking to prove his assertion that the first language is recorded there. It is a combination of hand symbols and characters. , body parts, etc. Slater has synthesized more than 28,000 words in this language, " said Strong's father.
