Pakistani doctors are puzzled about the case of 3 siblings 1, 9 and 13 years of age operating normally but when night falls, they enter a plant state - unable to move or talk.

The above three brothers are Shoaib, Rashid and Ilyas - called by the doctors "children of the sun".

They live in Mian Kundi village, about 15km from Quetta City, Balochistan province - Pakistan.

Professor Javed Akram at Pakistan Medical Institute told the Associated Press that he could not explain the symptoms that the three children had.

"We see this case as a medical challenge. Our doctors are conducting some medical tests to determine why they function normally during the day but cannot open their eyes at night. or talk ".

According to the professor, three boys came from a poor family. The Pakistani government has funded the full cost of medical care until the conclusion about symptoms of children suffering.

Currently, three children are undergoing testing in the capital Islamabad. Their blood samples were also sent to various international research organizations for further examination, including some in the US and UK.

In addition, Professor Akram's research team is collecting soil and air samples from the village of three young boys to clarify the environmental agent, if any. A total of 27 Pakistani experts worked closely with 11 international doctors to uncover the mysterious disease.
