Strange bird smells like feces, fake death

The Hoatzin is a bird that lives in the Amazon and Orinoco plains. This is the only bird with claws growing on each wing.

The Hoatzin is quite intelligent when it knows to pretend to die to evade the enemy. When attacked, they plunged into the water, using claws to cling, avoiding being swept away by the water. When the enemies leave, they use claws to climb up to the ground and take off.

Hoatzin is also a vegetarian bird. Their main food is leaves, fruits and flowers. Hoatzin bird smells like plant fertilizer, so it also has another name as foul bird. Perhaps because of the foul, Hoatzin birds escape human hunting because their flesh cannot be processed into food.

Hoatzin bird possesses a digestive system similar to that of cows, and the previous intestine is used to crush food and ferment by bacteria. Hoatzin bird has a very large kite with rumen functions in cows. It is this election that makes them unable to fly as far as other species.
