Strange story is unique: Planting with pencil
The impressive new invention of a pencil after it is no longer usable can be plugged into the ground to grow a plant that is causing a fever.
What if instead of throwing out the used pencil, people can turn them into flowers, herbs or even vegetables. This is the condition for the creation of the new Sprout special pencil invention.
The pen is made of cedar wood , using graphite and clay instead of using lead. Products produced in Denmark then appeared in the US and are available in the UK.
A seed capsule is attached at the end of each pencil and when the pen is no longer usable, the capsules can be grown on the ground to water to grow vegetables or herbs. The seeds include more than 20 types such as peppermint, tomatoes, basil, rosemary. The manufacturer equips each capsule with 3 different seeds to increase the success rate.
Planting with pencil is an impressive and extremely useful new invention.
When the pencil is watered, the capsules will melt and reveal the seeds. The pencil is then retained in the soil and acts as a tree marker when the name of the seed is engraved on the pen body.
Sprout 's Democratech producer said that seeds will start germinating within a week. Each pen is attached with a tree planting guide. However, Sprout warns that if the user spills the liquid or puts the tip of the pencil in his mouth, the capsule will dissolve and should then be planted.
Michael Stausholm from Democratech added: " The pencil Sprout appeared in a graduate product design course at MIT. It was inspired by the idea of creating eco-friendly products for the office in the future. . "European Sprout pencil launched in Denmark in June 2013 and this is the first market globally to be tested. Very successful project with more than 100,000 sets sold.
