The device is an invention of Mr. Nguyen Van Anh , born in 1980, residing in Be Bac hamlet, Xuan Dong commune, Cam My district, Dong Nai province.
Nguyen Van Anh was born into a purely agricultural family in Cam My district. In 2000, he taught at a primary school in the mountainous district of Se Se, Gia Lai province.

When the first rains started in the season, his students dropped out of the school at the same time to work on pruning corn and tofu to help the family. This situation makes it difficult for teaching and learning. Therefore, Mr. Nguyen Van Anh is very concerned about how to bring students back to class.
Chu Se is a difficult mountainous district where people rely mainly on agriculture so they don't need to leave school to free their labor. With this in mind, he started researching and manufacturing machines for farmers.
In 2006, he transferred to work at Tran Phu Secondary School (Xuan Dong Commune, Cam My District) and researched and manufactured many types of machines for agricultural production, including seed and fertilizer sowing machines. fertilize. Due to lack of experience, the device could not be applied to life, so he continued to research and perfect the device.
In 2013, he participated in Dong Nai Technical Innovation Contest with the invention of seeding and fertilizing machine. His invention was highly appreciated by the jury and won second prize. Since then, many people have known about his invention and contacted to buy the device.
However, when put into production, seeding and fertilizing machines have revealed many limitations such as uneven spacing, seed consumption . Up to now, after 13 years of pursuing the invention with many innovations and changes. his restructuring and invention of seeding and fertilizing machines won the first prize in the Creative Contest in the Southeast region held in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province in late September 2019. From this, he was completely confident in thinking of mass production to provide market to serve farmers.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Anh, the machine has a very simple and easy to use structure. The device is designed to have handles similar to bicycle handlebars, driven by the driver and the wheel. This wheel is connected to a sowing box with a chain, a multi-layer chain so it can adjust the seeding distance as well as fertilizer application.
When the wheel rolls on the ground, the seeding box will move, the seeding hooks spin and turn the hook into the seed duct, the seed falls into the plowed trench and soon the backfill unit replaces the seed. Machine can sow many types of seeds with different sizes and quantities such as corn, green beans, soybeans, peanuts .
Especially, the machine helps reduce labor and labor on an area of land. For seeds with a density of more than 15cm such as soybeans and corn, one worker can plant 4-5 sao / day. For seeds with a planting density of less than 10cm such as mung beans, one worker can plant 3.5 sao / day.

According to Mr. Phan Hoang Huy (Xuan Dong commune, Cam My district, Dong Nai province), before, when he could not buy this machine, his family spent a lot of money on hiring workers. On average, 1 acre of maize field, his family has to hire about 13 employees to trim and fertilize at the cost of 2-3 million VND / crop.
But from the last four years, owning this seeding machine, each family has only four employees to hire for about 1 million. Students in the commune therefore also spend less time helping families with productive labor, being more diligent in studying.
According to Ho Xuan Dung, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Xuan Dong Commune, Cam My District, the locality was a commune mainly engaged in agriculture. In the past, people had to spend a lot of money on pruning and fertilizing.
However, for many years, since the invention of Mr. Nguyen Van Anh was put into practice, the people here have saved a lot of cost and labor. Therefore, the machine is applied in practice very effectively, well received and appreciated by local farmers.
Mr. Nguyen Van Anh said that until now the invention of the seeding and fertilizing machine has sold more than 100 units inside and outside the province.
Due to the lack of mass production, the production cost is high (from 2.5 to 3 million VND / machine). He is investing with his colleagues in the project to produce a series of seeding and fertilizing machines.
As expected, when being mass produced, the price of each device to the market will be at nearly 2 million dong / unit.
