Successfully launched the micro-satellite of Vietnam

Five ultra-small CubeSat satellites, including F1 of Vietnam, were successfully launched into orbit on the night of October 4 (Vietnam time).

Five ultra-small CubeSat satellites, including F1 of Vietnam, were successfully launched into orbit on the night of October 4 (Vietnam time).

Among the above 5 micro satellites, two Japanese satellites are RAIKO and WE-WISH launched at 21:37 (Vietnam time), while F1 (Vietnam) satellites, TechEdSat (USA) and FITSAT-1 (Japan) was launched at 22:44 (Vietnam time).

From the International Space Station (ISS), Japanese astronaut Akihiko Hoshide controlled the robotic arm with a small J-SSOD satellite launcher to launch a tube containing 5 micro-satellites into orbit.

In the past, to launch small satellites into orbit, astronauts had to step out into space, according to space radio news station AMSAT (USA). Therefore, the use of robotic arms and J-SSOD ejection devices increases the number of satellites in each launch.

Ultra-small CubeSat satellites can survive about 5 months in space before being burned in the Earth's atmosphere.

Reportedly, the F-1 satellite, manufactured by FSpace Space Research Laboratory, FPT University, was posted to ISS on July 27 by Japanese unmanned transport vessel HTV-3, marking a development step. Important in manufacturing satellites in Vietnam.
