Lagerstroemia (Mystus) is so abused that some species are becoming rare. The reason: these are native fish, delicious, fragrant meat, sold at high prices . so they are hunted to exhaustion. Producing artificial varieties of lentils is therefore a real need .

Perhaps in the species of lentils, the lentils (Mystus sp.) Are considered the most attractive 'face' species. In addition to the relatively large body size in the Bagridae family (0.7-1.2kg / head), the technology is also very beautiful.

The whole body is covered with a golden color that looks very eye-catching and is not only a specialty species on the banquet table but can also be used as a scene. An interesting feature of this mausoleum is that with the naked eye, humans can see every muscle burning inside their body.

However, the saffron species seem to be very rare in nature. Master Ngo Van Ngoc - a lecturer in fisheries, University of Agriculture and Forestry in Ho Chi Minh City - said that this species is likely to be at risk of extinction.

Therefore, in the past five years, the aquatic experiment farm in Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry has searched and researched artificial reproduction of this specialty fish.

The group of experimental farms in the University of Agriculture and Forestry in Ho Chi Minh City said that they have conducted the stimulation of artificial reproduction of this first series of lemur by the semi-dry method.

From a female weighing about 1kg in the wild, the team obtained more than 4,000 six-day-old fry. These fish after 24 days of age reach 4.5cm in length. The number of these lentils is about 1,000, four and a half months old, reaching 25-30cm in length.

In the near future, the experimental farm of Agriculture and Forestry University in Ho Chi Minh City will have a broodstock herd of broodstock from this fry. This is a plentiful source of capital to be able to produce the technology of hatchling fish, partly serving the demand for commercial farming as well as ornamental.

If the technology of lemur with the most attractive color is the vivid color, the spiny fish (Mystus wyckioides) is attracted by the muscular body. According to scientists, the prickly fish is the largest of the fish species.

In addition to nature, people sometimes encounter prickly ones weighing 10kg, especially children weighing up to 18kg. In conditions of breeding, one-year-old prickly fish weighs about 2-2.5kg / head.

At present, the process of producing artificial sprouts is complete and the experimental farm of the University of Agriculture and Forestry in Ho Chi Minh City can transfer to farmers or breeding enterprises. In addition, where this study can also transfer the process of producing yellow catfish and hatchery fish.
