System for turning CO2 into fuel for engines in Canada
Scientists from Canada are building a factory to recycle carbon dioxide (CO2), which can suck carbon dioxide out of the air and combine it with hydrogen obtained from other renewable energy sources; then turning it into hydrocarbon fuel can provide power for electric cars, airplanes and other vehicles.

Canada developed a system to turn CO2 into fuel for engines
According to Sciences Alert, the technology is currently being developed by Carbon Engineering , which operates thanks to a grant from Microsoft founder, Bill Gates . Inspired by the respiration of green plants, the team of researchers has found a way to extract CO2 from the atmosphere, with greater efficiency. In the introduction video, the company was able to capture CO2 and store it for use when needed.
The technology is still in its infancy and requires significant investment to be completed soon. The reason is that carbon dioxide heating up to 400 ° C costs a lot of money and investors still have not seen the feasibility of the project. For Carbon Engineering, the company's system is expected to extract only about 450 tons of CO2 per year, equivalent to the average carbon footprint of 33 Canadians. Scientists think that in the future, when the system is complete, the efficiency will increase significantly.
In other words, the members of Carbon Engineering are seeking to "live with the flood ", when the ongoing global warming is out of human control. If these CO2-collecting plants were to go into operation soon, the amount of materials needed to create the energy for us to use could be said to be almost endless. This is considered a new factor in the renewable energy system that people are exploiting.
