earthquake on lombok island

US scientists on August 10 said that the recent strong earthquakes in Lombok in Indonesia's Western Nusa Tenggara province have made this tourist island rise to 25cm.

Most of the victims died in the mountains of northern Lombok, the death toll is expected to rise to hundreds.

Confirmed as of August 5, the number of victims killed in the magnitude 6.9 earthquake shook Indonesia's island of Lombok last week to 381 people.
