On June 18, thousands of pilgrims were evacuated from a famous shrine in the city of Lourdes in southern France due to flooding that drowned some administrative areas in this area

A new flood occurred in the French town of Lourdes forcing 450 pilgrims to evacuate and shut down some shrines. Large-scale cleanup has been carried out here on October 21.

Paris authorities said flooding caused damage to about 240 towns, leaving about 1,500 people leaving home and Lovre closing.
