Thailand: 113 people suspected of catching bird flu
According to Bangkok Post, yesterday the number of suspected patients with bird flu in Thailand has increased to 113 people. The Thai Ministry of Public Health said all suspected cases are currently being isolated and monitored
Earlier, Thailand also announced the discovery of the H5N1 bird flu virus in Nakhon Phanom province, northeastern Thailand, near the border with Laos. The inspection of 78 farms in this area has also begun.
According to the Thai Ministry of Agriculture, the cause of the disease here may stem from the chicken egg dealers in the Thai-Lao border area used to confuse each other's egg baskets.
