The 4000-year-old ship runs solar energy buried deep at the base of the Giza pyramid
For decades, many amazing artifacts have been found in Egypt. Among them, the most notable is this 4000-year-old ship.
Experts found many tombs intact and stored countless valuable items buried for thousands of years. They are considered as gifts for Pharaohs to bring to the afterlife.

While many people think that gold and precious stones are important things to be buried, in fact there are many things that have value far beyond them. One of them is a solar powered ship at the foot of the Pyramid . It was a ship of the right size as recorded, sealed for over 4000 years.
The sun ship is being preserved at the museum built in 1985. It was built only to display solar ships with the most modern preservation technologies. The ship is 44m long and 6m wide, intact and is described as the "masterpiece of carpentry". It can still move if launched. However, it was created not to go on the river.

Some researchers believe that solar ships are designed to fly . According to Egyptian mythology, every night god Ra in the night sun is Ra Atum sailed on a ship to fight monsters so that the next morning is the dawn light, Ra Horakhty. He will fly the ship through the sky.
The preserved solar ship is made of Lebanese pine. It has an unusual frame structure, connected together with Halfa rope and when found to be in a state of disassembling each part.
According to Ahmed Youssef Moustafa, director of the restoration room, they were very difficult to assemble the ship and took years to complete. Before assembling, he had to gather knowledge about ancient Egyptian ships . All are only in wall paintings, tombs and very few wooden models in graves.

However, no one knew the purpose of this ship. Many opinions suggest that the history of the ship is tinged with myth. The ship was just a sacrifice to bring the king to the afterlife. But there are signs that it has been used underwater. It may have carried the king's body from Memphis to Giza, or the ship was used by King Khufu himself when he was alive.
Many questions have been raised. This is not the first time many conflicting opinions about Egyptian research. In a temple built by Seti I and son Ramses II at Abydos, records of "flying objects" are recorded on the wall. This temple worshiped many ancient Egyptian gods.
Many researchers believe that the drawings depict flying objects such as helicopters or aircraft today. Meanwhile, many people think that they reflect only what we feel familiar.

Recall that the Saqqara bird , discovered in 1898 when the Padilmen tomb was excavated at Sappho. Archaeologist Khalil Messiha found a bird-like object.
With a wingspan of nearly 20cm, it caused years of controversy in archeology.
The bird is estimated to be 2200 years old, but the important point is that it is not like a bird. Wing design represents advanced aerodynamics. The idea is that the Saqqara bird is actually a model of an airplane.
What makes the story of the bird so interesting is that the inscription on it mentions "The Gift of Amon".
In addition, the nearby manuscripts all contain the phrase "I want to fly". Can all prove that the ancient Egyptians could fly? Other discoveries have proved that their technology is very advanced.
