The Cryophile Club only has a small wooden house on the banks of the Yenisei River, which serves as a meeting place for more than 300 members.Cryophile is a powerful group of microorganisms that grow in cold temperatures.Members of the age-old club range from babies to 79-year-olds.They are students, engineers, retired workers or water plant employees.

The members of Cryophile have a special interest in swimming when temperatures drop to -30 degrees Celsius or lower in Siberia's prolonged cold weather.In addition, there are many other interesting activities of the club such as pouring cold water on each other to celebrate the "Polar Bear" at the zoo in the outskirts of Krasnoyarsk, Siberia.

Some members share that cold bathing often makes their bodies healthier.Yulia Klimenkova, 16, said cold water increased her immunity and also helped her avoid viral infections caused by viruses.

Nastya Usachyova, 9, is with her mother Natalia, 39, started up before joining the Yenisei River.Her mother used to be a winter swimmer who gave her daughter a chance to participate in this somewhat adventurous sport from the time she was 2 years old.Nastya recounted: "At first I felt cold but I overcame my fear. My friends and many uncle said that swimming in the Yenisei River in winter is impossible. But maybe all the wrong person ".

Vladimir Khokhlov, 71, recounted his passion for swimming in September 1990, the time when the Cryophile Club was born.During a fishing trip on the banks of the Yenisei River, Vladimir was so excited that he jumped into the glacier, and since then he has never missed the opportunity to swim in the winter.That passion is like an addictive drug.Because if he didn't live near any river, he would probably have to find a way to pour cold water from head to toe.

Nikolai Bocharov, 77, shared that he began swimming in cold water since he was in the German army.When returning from the barracks, Nikolai dug the ice hole on the Yenisei line and immersed himself in it.He never felt cold or uncomfortable, otherwise he could stay cold in the water for hours.Just on the shore, his whole body was uneasy.However, Nikolai's family and relatives disagreed with his interests.His wife did not understand to share her passion with her husband.Friends are ridiculed and think he needs to live smarter.
