A study by biologists at the University of East Anglia in the UK, published in Wildlife Management, suggests that killing between 50% and 60% of the current wild deer will reduce their negative impact on rural areas, while helping them maintain their numbers in a stable state. Dr. Paul Dolman, a researcher at the University of East Anglia, said that the government should only allow hunters who are trained and have a license to participate in the deer killing campaign. According to him, this is the only practical measure.
