The earthquake is about 300 km from Phu Yen coast
At 1: 3 am on August 25 (at 18:03 GMT), an earthquake with an intensity of 5.1 on the Richter scale occurred in the South China Sea.

The earthquake occurred at the position of 13.41 degrees North latitude; 112.22 Kinh Dong. Disturbance depth of about 250km.
The earthquake occurred about 300 km from Phu Yen coast.
According to the earthquake and tsunami warning center, this is a relatively strong earthquake but due to the deep and concussive trauma of the distance, there is no possibility of causing tsunamis affecting the Vietnamese coast. Male and does not cause harm to people and construction works.
