At 4:08 am GMT, 11:00 am Hanoi on September 18, the Russian Soyuz space shuttle brought the first female passenger, Anousheh Ansari, an Iranian-American to fly into space.
Along with Ansari, there are 2 astronauts, Mikhail Tyurin (Russian) and Miguel Lopez-Alegria (American). The flight originated from Baikonour space airport in Kazakhstan.
Ansari, 40, is an entrepreneur in Dallas, Texas (USA) and a telecommunications engineer. Speaking before the flight, Ansari said: ' The universe always fascinated me and I always wondered about many of its mysteries. I want to see firsthand my hometown - Iran - from the universe, where I have never returned since I immigrated to the United States in 1984. '
To make a dream come true, Ansari must spend 25 million USD. This amount is from $ 550 million that the couple sold their company in 2000.

In 2002, Ansari spent $ 10 million to set up a fund called X Foundation to encourage space travel flights. Ansari hopes this fund and the flight will attract more attention of many people to space tourism.
Since March this year, Ansari has practiced flying at Russia's space center and NASA's Johnson Space Center in the United States. Fortunately, her flight was supposed to be after a Japanese businessman's flight but because of his unsafe health reasons, she was raised.
On the ISS space station, Ansari plans to test some new technologies and write blogs (blogs).
