Officials say high temperatures combined with record humidity have lasted throughout the days in central America, Montana and Texas, West Virginia, with temperatures at 38 degrees Celsius, with place 50 degrees C.

According to the BBC , this severe weather is expected to spread to the east coast of the United States, to New York and Washington capital this week.

The US Border Agency said high temperatures also caused a sudden increase in the number of deaths among illegal migrants from Mexico to the United States. Meanwhile, hundreds of people in American states were hospitalized because of exhaustion in the hot sun.

The US Hydrometeorological Agency said the high heat will continue until the end of July. Each year, an average of 162 people die from the heat in the US, higher than the number of people killed by the storm, flood, tornado or thunder.
