Seeing the hen being attacked by a hawk, the rooster immediately rushed to the rescue, causing the hunter to hastily run away. This dramatic scene happened at a site in Kentucky, USA.

In the clip, a hawk is perched on the fence of a farm looking for its meal. Even though the chicken coop area was carefully fenced, the bird of prey still found a way to get in through a small gap and attack the hen.

Discovering the incident, a rooster rushed forward and attacked the hawk to rescue its fellow. After a few kicks and pecks, the rooster made the unwanted guest give up and fly away.
