Divers find the wreck dating back to the 19th century under the Baltic Sea with mysterious ships and cargo ships.

Jerry Wilhelmsson, a nonprofit Baltic Underwater Explorers, caught the wreck of the ship while searching in the waters around the Åland islands between Stockholm and Helsinski, Sweden, and International Business Times reported on November 3.

The ship was in a rather shallow position, only 20 meters from the water and preserved intact, which surprised Wilhelmsson and colleague Magnus Melin."Jerry is looking for another ship, we did not expect to find this wreck. I think the ship is very special because it is very well preserved at a relatively low depth. It is well decorated. with pictures carved at the tip of the bow , " Melin said.

The ship is 27m long, has an anchor and carries hundreds of unopened bottles in barrels. The ship's identity is still a mystery, because it never appeared in previous shipwreck records. Initial surveys indicate it dates back to the 19th century.

"In the cargo compartment there are a number of bottles and containers. The contents contained in bottles are not yet analyzed, so we can only guess that they are used to store alcohol, " Melin said.

Divers will need to conduct more surveys to explain where the ship comes from, why it passes through the Baltic Sea and when to sink.
