The most light-polluted cities in the world

Artificial lighting is becoming a problem in many countries around the world. In addition to the benefits of nightlife, artificial lighting also unknowingly becomes a new "pollution" that people do not know.

There have been many studies showing that artificial light in big cities is the leading cause of changes in the biological clock of many people, such as depression or sleep disorder. But there is a greater tangible harm when 80% of people on Earth don't know how the night sky feels since artificial light.

Recently, The Revelator has conducted an analysis of light pollution levels worldwide. Analysis has shown that big cities are worst affected by light pollution.

Urban areas and cities on the chru list are weak developed countries, showing that the level of light pollution is severe and much higher than the average of the world.

Cities with the most light pollution are those with a large population and high urbanization density. But in many places, the level of light pollution depends on geography and culture.
