Prahlad Jani, 82, told Telegraph that he left home at the age of 7 and wandered around Rajasthan, India. Jani believes he is supported by a goddess so he doesn't need to eat or drink and still live normally. The goddess poured fairy medicine through a hole in her mouth. According to Jani, during the past 7 decades, he has not eaten or drank and has not released anything from his body.
Dr. Sudhir Shah, a supernatural researcher, had been monitoring Janin in 2003. Shah said he did not eat or drink for 10 days. The body absorbs urine immediately after it forms in the bladder. Body weight decreased slightly after the test.
Although Dr. Shah recognized Jani's ability, many people still believe that story is just a trick.
Now scientists from the Indian Military Research and Development Organization (DRDO) decide to understand Prahlad Jani's capabilities. They put them in a separate room in Sterling Hospital in Ahmedabad, Gurjarat state. Here people watch Jani closely. From April 22 to now he does not eat and drink anything, but doctors have not found any negative effects, such as hunger, fatigue, dehydration, exhaustion, coma. Also during that period, she did not urinate or defecate.
Telegraph said, doctors will continue to monitor Jani instrument for 15 more days. They predict that during that time the body will have negative symptoms such as muscle atrophy, dehydration, weight loss, fatigue, internal organs to stop working.
DRDO thinks that Jani can teach soldiers how to extend their survival without food. His secrets can also help disaster victims increase survival while waiting for rescue forces.
'If Jani's claims are proven, this will be a breakthrough in medicine. We will be able to save many lives in natural disasters, sea journeys and harsh conditions. We can teach people survival techniques with very little food and water under adverse conditions, 'said Dr. G Ilavazhagan, director of the Indian Department of Defense's Institute of Applied Physiology and Science. stated.
Many Jain and Hindu believers in India can fast and drink for up to 8 days but their bodies are still completely normal. Actually fasting is part of their religious rituals. According to the Telegraph, most humans cannot live without eating for 50 days.
