The parrot swears

When meeting a lost parrot, the employees of the Scottish Animal Abuse Prevention Association (SPCA) were stunned to see it cursing, whistling and jumping.

A resident phoned the SPCA headquarters to announce that a gray parrot Timneh - a bird from West Africa - strayed into a private garden in Livingstone, Scotland. So SPCA sent a group of staff to the garden to receive the animal on July 6.

As soon as they met the parrot, the staff was impressed by its rich vocabulary. They call it Sam.

"This parrot is very friendly. He is always ready to jump on your shoulders or hands. So we think his owner has spent a lot of time training him. Sam doesn't have an identification circle so we can't confirm. identify its owner , " said Kenny Sharpe, an SPCA employee.

Sam is currently living in SPCA's Animal Rescue Center in the town of Balerno, Edinburgh. It becomes the "star" of the center. Not only swearing in many different words, Sam also whistled and danced every time people didn't notice it.
