Red dragon hoses appeared in the city of Fresnillo, Zacatecas, on Tuesday but fortunately did not cause human and property damage.

The water cannon formed in the state of Zacatecas at 13:00 (local time) on August 6 with winds of 60-117km / h, blowing red dust up high. Authorities said the water cannon was not strong and did not cause any damage. However, many people are still frightened when they see abnormal phenomena.

Climate change is the cause of this storm in the moment , according to Manuel de Jesús Macías Patiño, environmental expert at Zacatecas University. In other seasons, whirlwinds and small hoses are not too rare in Zacatecas. However, the prolonged drought caused by an unusual climate has created favorable conditions for this dragon to form.

Macías Patiño advises people to be prepared for unusual weather events and other seasons when the climate is rapidly changing. Storms and cannons can also become stronger and appear more. Therefore, he hoped the government would invest in radar technology to detect early signs of a tornado coming.
