Giant red leech is one of the largest leeches in the world. Scientists believe that large individuals of this leech species may even be longer than 1m.
In the documentary, the leech has sniffed the earthworm from quite a distance. When meeting the prey it moves very fast and rushes to swallow its prey.
The director of the documentary, Paul Williams, said the leech swallowed the prey like the python did.
The title has been changed.
