This special ability machine is a product of members of the European Union Joint Science and Technology Project (JAST). Tests have shown that robots are programmed to enable people to perform tasks such as assembling a highly complex toy.

As the robot learns the process of assembling toys, it can observe the actions of people or what the handler handles, so that in themselves can do next to support the human partner. It is important to locate the tools needed to assemble the toy.

One of the researchers involved in the project was Wolfram Erlhagen of the University of Minho in Portugal. "The robots observe behavior to determine their task and quickly learn to guess the next action. according to the person's partner ".

In addition to the tests, the special robots of European scientists are also programmed to solve certain doubts to find a way to clarify the ambiguous intent of human partners. For example, if a piece of material can be used to fit three different structures, the robot will have to ask the partner who thinks what kind of structure to support the assembly.

The advances made in robotics can lead to the creation of more human-like robots, such as making decisions by making judgments and asking questions.
