Researchers from the Sorbonne University (France) examined bone density of ancient sloths. According to the Royal Society B yearbook, the team showed that over time, the fossil bone density of sloth has increased and it is evident that this mammal is more likely to be from diligently plains and mountains go to the sea.
Fossil samples were sampled by scientists from museums in Lima (Peru) and Paris (France). The study examines the bones of five different lazy species that lived 5-8 million years ago.
