The unique 'polka-dot' lake is likened to Mars on Earth
Spotted Lake is located northwest of Osoyoos, east of the Similkameen Valley of British Columbia (Canada).
In winter and spring, the lake still looks like other lake regions. But when summer comes and the water slowly evaporates, hundreds of huge puddles are exposed, leaving behind a 'polka-dotted' lake with beautiful yellow, green and blue spots. The name Dot Bi lake also comes from that.
