The vibration system helps to alert traffic accidents
The AT & T lab at Carnegie Mellon University has developed a new steering wheel that features vibration to guide the driver to turn left or right for safety. This device can also be programmed to vibrate in a certain way if an imminent danger is detected, such as when another vehicle is lying in your observation.
Do you feel tired of the warning sound from the satellite navigation system? Try switching to a vibration alert system.

Researchers say the vibrating steering wheel uses the same 'tactile feedback' feature that is often applied to the touch screen of the phone, producing a slight shake when we touch it. The steering wheel has 20 vibration points and they can move in any direction to indicate the driver's direction. Researchers say using the new system could reduce 3-4% of accidents caused by distraction while driving, significantly reducing the number of deadly traffic accidents each year. Distraction usually occurs when the driver does not look at the car's satellite navigation screen or does not see the way.
Experimentation shows that among young drivers, on average 25, when they used the steering wheel vibration, their distraction decreased by 3.1% compared to the use of satellite navigation warning system with sound.
