This mother dolphin is expected to take her baby's body away from the shore, to "rest" in a deeper water.

This rare and moving image was recorded by a group of tourists off the Guangxi Zhuang area (China). This is the famous place for dolphin watching tours.

The body of the young dolphin slipped from her mother's back five times as she swam across the waves. Even so, the mother dolphin does not leave her child and continues her solitary journey.
