Researchers in Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, California, are testing a STARE (Space-Based Telescopes for Actionable Refinement of Ephemeris) ground-based system , including setting up a micro-satellite group. low orbit flight to regulate the flight path of space machines in close proximity to Earth, like adjusting the flight paths of satellites in orbit near Earth.

These police satellites will fly in orbit and monitor the movements of other satellites to prevent them from colliding with each other, while also tasking with clearing cosmic garbage. During the ground test, scientists in Liverpool succeeded in adjusting NORAD 27006 satellite orbit and forecasted its movement in the next 36 hours with an error of less than 50m.

Currently, the Space Surveillance Network has been able to accurately locate low orbit objects within a 1km radius. According to researchers, STARE's mission will use the Various instruments and different data analysis systems. The goal for STARE is to increase accuracy when detecting cosmic objects in orbit and thus reducing the risk of false alarms.
