According to Lieutenant Colonel Luong, when the storm surged, strong winds continued to change in three directions, estimating sea waves rising more than 10 meters and feeling trusses shaking but not significantly. Typhoon Tembin has caused some damage but not great. The combat officer on the rig is working to overcome.

"Last night, all soldiers on the platform hardly slept to be ready to fight the storm, no one had a thought about Christmas , " Lieutenant Colonel Luong shared.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Dinh, assessing the big storm, from the previous day the unit has been fighting against the rig. At the same time, the equipment and supplies are packed and listed high. In addition, soldiers on old rigs have been transferred to new rigs, 50 meters away, so everyone is safe.
