Use artificial intelligence to detect cancer for only $ 1

Recently, a startup company (startup) announced that they have all the algorithms available to detect cancer early. Worth mentioning, when the hospital uses this algorithm to shoot, patients only pay 1 USD (equivalent to more than 22,000 VND).

Usually, taking magnetic resonance imaging, CT scans, etc. will give the doctor information to detect any disease or disorder that the patient may have.

The problem is, these shots are very expensive, and even medical professionals may not recognize very early signs of some diseases like cancer.

That's what Zebra Medical Vision , an Israeli startup is trying to solve. Accordingly, the company uses artificial intelligence algorithms (AI) to capture and detect any negative signs of the patient before the doctor finds them.

With the intention that this technology will be available around the world, even in poor countries, the company announced that all algorithms will be available for patient screening at a cost of only 1 USD / time. Therefore, every time the hospital uses the algorithm to shoot, patients will only pay 1 USD.

Eyal Gura, Chairman of Zebra Medical Association, told CNBC: 'This model is aimed at all customers. The company also has its first customers and they will enjoy preferential rates because we want this model to be extended beyond Western countries. '

'Recently, we have customers in Africa and India,' Gura said, adding that the startup's goal is to provide new generation health care technology to new markets. floating.

In addition, Zebra recently collaborated with Oxford University, UK to examine osteoporosis to prevent recurring bone cracks.

Kassim Javaid, one of the people who conducted the survey, used Zebra's algorithm to detect cracks in the spine. Worth mentioning, they have grown to 60%. Mr. Javaid said in a report that Zebra's algorithm discovered 95% of spina bifida in just one shot.

According to Gura, the startup company is also discussing with the UK National Health Service (NHS) about providing this service to society. Zebra's technology can now detect early lung disease and they are also working to develop algorithms to detect many other diseases.
