Level 1 hurricanes only cause minor damage to houses.

  1. At level 1, winds range from 119-153km / h, causing minor damage to homes.
  2. Grade 2 storms have winds of 154-177km / h.
  3. Level 3 hurricanes have winds of 178-208km / h, potentially causing heavy damage.
  4. Wind power of level 4 storm is 209-251km / h.
  5. The last level is a Category 5 storm with winds of over 252km / h. In a Category 5 storm, a large number of houses were completely destroyed.
