Most people throw away eggshells after beating but eating eggshells can bring many benefits to the body.

Eggshell is actually a rich source of calcium. 95% of eggshells are calcium carbonate, each egg shell contains 2g of calcium, 2-4 times higher than the recommended daily intake of calcium.

But do not eat raw egg shells. First, boil the eggshell to destroy all the latent bacteria, then bake the eggshell at 100 degrees C for 10-15 minutes and then crush the eggshell into a fine powder.

Eggshell powder is considered to be a good source of calcium, proven to reduce pain and reduce bone density in women with age-related osteoporosis.

You can add eggshells while preparing food. But also be careful, using too much or too little calcium can be harmful.

An adult needs less than 1g of calcium per day.
