However, according to Dang Tuan Duy, Chairman of the HCMC Astronomical Club. HCM, the most suitable time to observe the meteor shower in Vietnam is from midnight Saturday to dawn on Sunday. When Leonids reached its peak, in places with ideal observation conditions, the number of stars could reach more than 20 tracks per hour."In recent years Leonids has weakened, but this meteor shower will appear with many bright meteor stars , " Tuan Duy said.

Last year, the bright moonlight near the constellation Leo destroyed the rain of Leonids. But this year, the moon almost did not affect the observer.
