Taking one vitamin D daily can help reduce the risk of heart disease, the leading cause of death for older people in Canada.

After more than a year of research, doctors concluded that there was a huge difference in health outcomes among patients with high and low vitamin D levels.

Patients with low vitamin D content have more than 80% risk of death, 54% risk of diabetes, 40% risk of coronary artery disease, 72% risk of impaired renal function and 26% low risk feel.

Doctors believe that research results are another proof of the benefits of taking vitamin D and we can reduce the risk of death, heart disease or diabetes by taking vitamin D.
