With an average fins of 7.6 m and a body weight that can reach 2,300 kg, giant stingrays are one of the smartest marine animals. The most noticeable point in them is the longer fins span than the body.

Giant rays only live in warm waters. They are pregnant for 12 months and only give birth to one child per litter. Their food is fish larvae and plankton. They can swim more than 1,100 km in 60 days.

The main enemies of giant rays are big sharks and whales.
