The first patent-born typewriter belonged to an Englishman named Henri Mill since 1714, although it was not yet completed. More than a century later, in the United States, the first typewriter appeared for blind people. The inventor of this invention is William Bert, patented for a machine called " Blind Typewriter " in 1829.

Today, such machines no longer exist. However, there have been many inventors contributing their efforts to the development of typewriters. In 1833, Cksave Progen (French) made a typewriter with a keyboard and levers for each symbol.

In 1843, Tracterobe (American) invented a typewriter with symbol keys arranged around a copper bracelet with a central axis. He used his hand to turn to the required word and covered the ink with the symbol to hit the paper.

In 1856, a new typewriter came out with keys arranged in a circle and each time a symbol was typed, the word was typed into a point in the middle. This principle of operation has been used in modern typewriters. The first typewriter entered mass production was created by three Americans: C.Shoilz, S.Soil and C.Glidden in 1873. It has many special characteristics, such as paper placed on a circle. Squid rubber, with reversing winding core for movable ink and scissors. Then we have both portable typewriters, electric typewriters .

However, in recent years, typewriters have to make room for computers.
