WHO announces the 10 most dangerous pathogens 2018
In addition to Zika and Ebola, the World Health Organization warns of respiratory syndrome that will threaten global health in 2018.
Once a year, the World Health Organization (WHO) publishes a list of dangerous pathogens at risk of outbreaks or no countermeasures.
The disease caused by zika virus is still in the top of the dangerous pandemic of humanity.
In 2018, this list includes the following 10 diseases:
- X disease (refers to an unknown bacterium that is likely to grow strongly like the Spanish flu that killed 50 million people)
In addition to the above 10 pathogens, WHO recommends prudent communities, leptospirosis, Chikungunya, West Nile virus, plague and thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS).
