Cortisol levels make it easier to get angry.

In fact, this is a question that has led scientists to have a headache for years. A lot of evidence indicates that when the weather is hot, the rate of aggression, violent fighting and suicide also increases.

And it turns out there's a mechanism behind this story, not just a feeling. A recent study has shown that hot weather actually increases the amount of cortisol - the stress hormone in the body . When you are more stressed, you are more likely to get angry.

According to Dr. Dominika Kanikowska, research author from Poznan University of Medicine, previous studies have suggested every hypothesis, as hot weather increases heart rate, increases testosterone levels, and activates the sympathetic nervous system. All create "hitting or running" reactions in the brain, and people want to get hot, more irritable.

But Kanikowska realized that the reason was simply cortisol!

"This hormone helps us reduce inflammation and maintain health. However, when it rises too high, things will get worse."

" The concentration of cortisol is usually highest in the morning, then gradually decreases during the day. At least in the evening, to ensure sleep quality."
