Why lying hammock is easy to sleep?
Why do we put our backs on the hammock that we cannot resist sleep, which is explained by Swiss scientists .
The brainwave analysis of hammock sleepers shows that the swinging state helps us to fall asleep quickly and sleep better than lying in bed.
Experts at the University of Geneva suggest that the swaying state of the hammock acts on the senses, helping to synchronize brain activity into a sleep-related activity. This finding also helps to clarify why mothers have been tempting children to sleep on cradles or hammocks.
Previously, 12 volunteers were asked to split into 2 groups, a nap in a hammock and a bed in bed. During a 45-minute sleep, their brain activity is monitored and recorded.
The team found that when lying in a swinging hammock, the deep sleep phase of volunteers - often half the length of sleep - was increased. According to experts, this finding helps scientists study how to improve the quality of sleep at night as well as find ways to treat sleep-related diseases such as insomnia.
