Will establish IT Talent Center

On the morning of November 14, the Ministry of Posts and Telematics of Vietnam (MPT) and Motorola Group announced plans to establish an Information Technology Talent Center (IT) in Vietnam. According to the plan, the Center will start recruiting excellent students who have graduated from universities by the end of 2006.

The center's goal is to support Motorola's regional business development with IT systems, skills and solutions, and it will help Motorola to promote long-term planning in delivery. develop IT experts in the region. This is the result of a visit and working in Vietnam by Motorola Chairman and CEO Ed Zander in June this year.

In the first phase (at the end of 2006), the center will recruit 5-10 excellent students who have graduated. In the 2007 period, 20-30 students will be recruited. These students, after completing their training, will work for Motorola. Trainers in the first phase will be employees of Motorola and some IT companies in Vietnam. In the next phase, the core team will initially become trainers for newly recruited employees. The Ministry of Post and Telematics will coordinate with training institutions to identify appropriate IT training programs and to create appropriate candidates.

Candidates will not only be trained in software programming skills, but also trained in analytical skills in business. This is one of the differences with other Motorola centers established in China, India, .
