Women with modest chest sizes should not be too sad, because their risk of type 2 diabetes will be significantly lower than those of 'fiery' bodies .
Researchers from Harvard University, the United States and University of Toronto, Canada conducted a survey of more than 92,000 North American women. They found that women who possessed extremely large breasts (D cup or more) were about three times more likely to have type 2 diabetes than women who wore only A cup.
Women who have a modest round will be at risk of diabetes only 1/3 of women who wear cup D or more.
Professor Joel Ray believes that the correlation between breast size and the risk of disease stems from how breasts develop during puberty.
'Puberty is a period in which the body doesn't absorb as much glucose as normal, causing high blood sugar levels. This is a pre-sign of type 2 diabetes' , Professor explained on DailyMail.
For healthy girls, this phenomenon will disappear after the period of puberty ends. However, for young women with an overgrowth of the first round, the consequences may remain in the body and increase the risk of diabetes later on.
