Wonders in the dark

The unexpected beauty of dark caves is one of the intense inspirations that motivate geologists to explore and research. The "magic power" of these caves sometimes causes them to defy their lives.

Garni Cave in Armenia is named by geologists as "stalactite symphony". The pieces of stalactites here have a very strange shape, not round but pointed and slender.

The exploration of caves is extremely dangerous because the structure of the terrain in these areas is often unsustainable. A long accretion process can create beautiful scenes but often cannot afford a snap of a finger.

The danger also has its price, if lucky the adventurer will see firsthand the strange, unique beauty that on the ground can hardly be seen. In the image is the eggs of the living creatures in the cave.

The deeper you go into the cave, the more adventurers have the opportunity to meet natural wonders. Each layer of stalactites overlap is the mark of the thickness of the natural age left here.

Unlike many other stalactites, "crystal caves" in the desert of Chihuahua, Mexico, there are crystals of CaSO ₄ that sparkle in the dark. It was the harsh conditions of the desert that created this natural wonder.

The entrance to Ellison Cave, in Georgia, one of the deepest caves in the world. Leaving the cave, the adventurers had to climb the rope for a length of 179 meters. That size does not seem to be anything if it is horizontal, it is different in the vertical.
