Zero-day security error in Windows
The latest security error is 'zero-day' in Windows XP SP2 that has just been published with the exploit code on websites where hackers can be exploited as a denial-of-service attack for users using Windows XP SP2 .
Attackers exploit denial-of-service (DoS) attacks aimed at dynamic library files ' ipnathlp.dll ', used for Windows Firewall / Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) services.
The ipnathlp.dll (NAT Helper Components) dynamic library file connects to Windows XP systems with Internet Connection Sharing. A user account on the same network share can send a special 'manual' DNS query to the target system so that ' ipnathlp.dll ' handles and leads to a denial of service attack. When the system has been attacked, a message will appear: ' Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. Bạn bị lỗi cho Inconvenience '.
The current error threatens the entire system that is using Windows XP SP2, does not affect Windows Server 2003. The current solution is to use another way to share the Internet connection, users can refer to Several solutions here.
