2 more people from Vinh Phuc were positive for nCoV virus

The Ministry of Health on 6/2 confirmed that 49-year-old and 16-year-old patients in Vinh Phuc were positive for nCoV, increasing the number of pneumonia in Vietnam to 12.

The Ministry of Health on 6/2 confirmed that 49-year-old and 16-year-old patients in Vinh Phuc were positive for nCoV, increasing the number of pneumonia in Vietnam to 12.

These two are the mother and younger sister of a 23-year-old female patient from Vinh Phuc, who is being isolated at the Central Tropical Hospital.

The 49-year-old mother is engaged in agriculture, in Son Loi commune, Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province. On February 3, she developed symptoms of a cough.

The 16-year-old girl, the student, also has mild cough, fatigue.

Both patients had a common history of epidemiology and were in close contact with the patient, and have been monitored by health authorities at home since the 23-year-old daughter was determined to be infected with nCoV. This girl is one of a group of 8 people from Nihon Plast Co., Ltd. of Japan sent to China to train in Wuhan City, and return to Vietnam on January 17.

Samples of two patients tested for nCoV using Realtime RT - PCR, at the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology.

Both new patients being treated at the Binh Xuyen District Health Center, Vinh Phuc, are in stable health.

Up to now, Vietnam has recorded 12 cases of nCoV positive in which 3 people were discharged from the hospital.

Vinh Phuc is currently the province with the highest number of people with nCoV pneumonia in the country with 7 cases . The provincial health sector is supervising and isolating 138 people, of which 18 are at high risk for nCoV.

8 people from Nihon Company returned from Wuhan, currently 5 people have tested positive for nCoV, 3 are still in isolation.

Up to now, Vietnam has recorded 12 cases of nCoV positive in which 3 people were discharged from the hospital. Ho Chi Minh City has 3 cases including two Chinese father and father treated at Cho Ray Hospital (the child who has just been discharged), an American overseas Vietnamese who has been in transit at Wuhan Airport for 2 hours being treated at the Tropical Hospital. Each case in Khanh Hoa and Thanh Hoa has just been discharged from the hospital, of which the patient in Khanh Hoa is spread from two Chinese fathers, the patient in Thanh Hoa is a member of a group of 8 people from Nihon Company from Wuhan. The remaining patients are from Vinh Phuc, of which 4 people from Nihon Company delegation and 3 are relatives who were cross-infected.
