26 people died from rain in Pakistan
Heavy rains in Pakistan's largest city in the past two days have left at least 26 people dead, officials said.
Rain began to fall on Saturday night and flooded the major roads in Karachi. People's lives are disturbed by the city's electricity supply company forced to cut off electricity. Mayor Mustafa Kamal said that collapsing roofs, traffic accidents, electric shock, drowning were the causes of 26 deaths. Most of the corpses were given to their relatives.
Qamaruz Zaman, director of the Pakistan Meteorological and Hydrological Authority, continued to rain throughout the Sunday.
