After a day of competition, on the afternoon of November 3, the 2013 Robothon National Championship championship belongs to the team from Vietkids Primary School (Hanoi) at the primary and team level Tran Cao Van Primary School ( Da Nang) at the intermediate level.

These two teams receive a reward of 1000 USD and will represent Vietnam to attend the International Robotics Competition 2013 which will take place at the end of November in Manila, Philippines.

The National Robothon Competition in 2013, jointly organized by the DTT-Eduspec Federation in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training, was held in Da Nang. This year's competition has the participation of 48 teams, with 144 students, from many Robotics clubs of primary schools throughout the country.

This year's competition has a 'smart city' theme, posing a problem of urban development in the next few decades to handle huge data streams from city and population sources such as natural disasters. nature and climate, cost of living, crime rate, transportation, education and other aspects.

With this topic, the teams participating in the competition will use their intelligence, creative thinking, to assemble and install robots to solve the problems raised by the problems, help their city become into a 'smart city'.

The teams are categorized into two levels: middle age (grades 4 to 5) and elementary (grades 1 to 3). Each team has 3 contestants, the contestants will receive the robot model, then modeled and programmed on the computer by subject.

The jury will calculate the time to complete the robot's fastest test to determine the prize. Second prize at the intermediate level of the competition belongs to the team from Tran Cao Van Primary School, Huynh Ngoc Hue Primary School (Da Nang), at the primary level of Le Ngoc Han Primary School and Xuan Dinh Primary School. (Hanoi).

The next local host of this competition is HCMC.
